IATSIC/AAST Session September 2009
On Tuesday, September 8 during the 43rd World Congress of Surgery of ISS/SIC there will be a sponsored IATSIC/AAST session with six quality papers. The abstract process for this session is now open through December 15th. Please click here to submit an abstract in the field of trauma, burn and emergency general surgery.
AAST Health Policy Scholarship
For the second year in a row AAST is partnering with the American College of Surgeons to offer a scholarship to participate in the Executive Leadership Program in Health Policy and Management at Brandeis University June 14-19, 2009. AAST Approves Another Site as an Acute Care Surgery Fellowship Training Site
The Acute Care Surgery Committee and the AAST Board of Managers has approved The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center as an Acute Care Surgery Fellowship training site in September. Three sites have been approved to date: University of Nevada School of Medicine, University of Colorado School of Medicine (Denver Health Medical Center) and University of Pittsburgh Medical Center as Acute Care Surgery Fellowship Training Sites.
