Acute Care Surgery - Maintenance of Certification Course on September 30, 2009 in Pittsburgh, PA
The AAST will be holding an Acute Care Surgery - Maintenance of Certification (ACS-MOC) course on September 30, 2009 in Pittsburgh, PA from 1:00 - 4:30 pm prior to the start of the AAST 68th Annual Meeting. CME credit for the course has been applied for and a certificate will be issued. The course includes 3-4 lectures with a post test afterwards. To apply, a special application form is needed along with a pre-test. There is no cost for the session if registered for the AAST meeting, if not, then the fee is $150. AAST Approves Another Site as an Acute Care Surgery Fellowship Training Site
The Acute Care Surgery Committee and the AAST Board of Managers has approved University of California San Francisco - Fresno as an Acute Care Surgery Fellowship training site in April. Four sites have been approved to date: University of Nevada School of Medicine, University of Colorado School of Medicine (Denver Health Medical Center), University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and UCSF-Fresno as Acute Care Surgery Fellowship Training Sites.
